According to company spokesman Jesse Chou , Delta shipped nearly 1 million energy-conserving and environment-friendly lighting units including street lights, light balls, lamps and units for commercial use in 2010, while this year’s shipments would surpass those figures.Besides, Delta has also launched into branded business by starting to sell Delta-branded light products in the second half of last year.

Chou pointed out that the company plans to make forays into overseas markets after gaining a foothold at home.Currently, Delta mainly offers customers branded commercial offerings that include industrial automation solutions.To diversify, the company will invest more in own-brand consumer products that consist of LEDs, electronic readers and projectors.

The summit aim to strengthen the LED Linear high bay light manufacturing supply chain, lead by key Lighting Science Group executives, the company’s first annual LED summit was held in Satellite Beach, Florida last week. And about 80 lighting vendors from around the world attended this summit.

Frank Wischmeyer, Vice President and Managing Director led high bay light, comments, “Against the backdrop of the Nobel Prize for Physics awarded to Andre Geim and Konstantin Novoselov for Graphene, this is good timing for our forthcoming delivery.
