Chief executive officer and chairman of the board of Indal, Sebastian Arias, says that the deal will enable the two businesses to pool led linear high bay light technologies, teams and practices to lead the 'LED revolution'.

According to the Racine Family YMCA, Ruud Lighting will donate more than $300,000 lighting fixtures and related equipment for the new suburban YMCA located on the Mount Pleasant civic campus.

Ruud Chairman and CEO Alan Ruud said in a news release that most of the lighting products are LED luminaires that will provide "significant energy savings and reduce operating expenses." LED technology delivers an estimated 30-60 percent reduction in energy consumption compared to traditional technologies, with virtually no maintenance. It also complies with LED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, certification requirements.

It’s said that Mouser Electronics has developed a partnership agreement with LEDiL, which specializes in led high bay light optics for high-power and lighting-class LEDs.
